We offer our customers an auditing service which monitors anilox volume, wear and damage status. Our technician will carry out audits on site, and provide you with a report and recommendations as to an ongoing maintenance programme which will ensure top class results every time.
Anilox Maintenance Tips
Tip 1
Do not allow the rubber roll or blades to be left in contact with the anilox roll when stopped.
Tip 2
Wash units out regularly using Draychem’s range of cleaning solutions.
Tip 3
Avoid partial prints by keeping the plates clean and washed.
Tip 4
Check the blades pressure settings to avoid damaging the anilox rolls.
Tip 5
Never leave the anilox roll inked up after printing and wash out as soon as possible
Tip 6
Carry out regular anilox auditing to monitor the condition of the rolls.
Tip 7
Make sure your ink is at the correct viscosity. Ink that is too thick or thin will mis perform and cause print faults.
Tip 8
Keep the printing plate clean from mess and debris. Always use an anti-static solution.
